kagure Omotesando: Presents "Rebirth" Exhibition by omoto

Now in its fifth year, the annual year-end event also features workshops.
omoto "Rebirth" Exhibition at kagure Omotesando
Hand-forged kitchen knives (for vegetables, fruits, and fish) and other "iron" items, alongside indigo-dyed and persimmon-tanned clothing and accessories.—Yasuto Suzuki works with iron, while Tomoko Suzuki focuses on textiles, both pursuing crafts deeply rooted in daily life. Together, they started omoto six years ago. The annual omoto exhibition will be held at the kagure Omotesando store from November 21 (Friday).

Items purchased previously can be repaired and re-sharpened.
Various knives forged by Yasuto Suzuki, including kitchen knives and paper knives, as well as traditional Japanese nails and clamps. Additionally, Tomoko Suzuki's signature smocks, shirts, skirts, bags, pot holders, and other textile items will be available at the kagure Omotesando store.
Also featured are bamboo baskets from omoto's neighbor (Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) by master craftsman Shoichi Nishiyama, sweets from the imaginary confectionery shop Hirakegoma (Zenrin-an), and confections from Hitoto in Tokyo.
