Passionate Talk Events Held Daily, Just Like Last Year

"Daikanyama Design Department" (hereafter DDD) is an event that creates a space to "know, think about, and enjoy" design by holding various designer exhibitions within Daikanyama Tsutaya Books.

The biggest draw of this event is undoubtedly that you can actually get your hands on most of the items on display and for sale. You can casually touch the products and directly assess their feel before making a purchase.

By shortening the distance to the works, it aims to become a place where creators and users can grow closer.


This year's main content is "Asian Creative," a collection of the latest designs from across Asia. It features emerging designers and brands based in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and more, exhibiting and selling their work.


In the architecture and design section on the first floor of Building 2, there's also a market for design products titled "DDD Market." Additionally, from Wednesday, October 29th to Monday, November 3rd (Holiday), the "HAY Mini Market," a pop-up shop by the Danish interior product brand "HAY," will appear at the Garden Gallery at Daikanyama T-SITE.


Furthermore, talk events will be held daily with diverse guests from various fields, passionately discussing "How to Make Tokyo More Exciting," alongside a weekend market and other engaging content. During this time when Tokyo buzzes with design talk, why not visit this "buyable design" fair?
