Jewelry Capturing the Light and Shadow of Architecture Released
Grand architectural scales meet compact, minimalist jewelry. While the scales differ, both connect to the "body."
This collection, a masterful fusion of two aesthetic sensibilities, draws inspiration from five of Kuma Kengo’s architectural works.
By extracting and reinterpreting elements such as the textures, perspectives, and designs of Kuma’s architecture, they have been transformed into jewelry. Vendome Aoyama, renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, is responsible for the manufacturing and sales.
“It was challenging to translate the light and shadow within architecture into jewelry, but the artisans’ skill has brought it to life beautifully. We hope not only women but also men will wear these pieces,” says Mayumi Omura.
This novel approach of wearing architecture, along with the distinct beauty of each piece, is sure to captivate many.
