Artists
D*FACE
Born in 1973. Strongly influenced by "Subway Art" read in childhood, he began drawing. The skate scene, which interested him in high school, is heavily reflected in his current work. After graduating from a design college in London, which he attended after high school, he began working as a freelance illustrator and designer, while also starting to create his own artwork. He subsequently became engrossed in the joy of creating his own work and decided to pursue a career as a graffiti artist. Thus, the "graffiti artist" D*FACE was born. In 2006, with the belief of "allowing his peers and talented young artists to freely express themselves," he opened his own "Stolen Space Gallery" on Brick Lane in East London. The gallery exhibits works by many artists, both famous and unknown.
Lisa Larson
Born in 1931 in Småland, Sweden. At the age of 18 in 1949, she entered the School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg to study ceramics. In 1954, her graduation project at HDK University of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg was discovered by Stig Lindberg, and she joined Gustavsberg, where he was the art director. She played a key role in the golden age of Swedish ceramics. After creating over 300 works as a representative designer of Gustavsberg, alongside Stig Lindberg and Karin Björquist, she left the company in 1979. She then worked as a freelancer for Hoganas, Deuka, and JIE Ceramic, returning to Gustavsberg in 1992 to open her own ceramic studio. Today, her collector base is rapidly growing not only in Sweden but worldwide.
