JEAN PROUVE BY G-STAR RAW FOR VITRA

Jean Prouvé, a towering figure of the 20th century, left an indelible mark across architecture and product design. Though never formally qualified as an architect, he proudly identified as a "constructeur," creating numerous products characterized by their rational, unadorned structures.
Currently, hhstyle.com's Aoyama flagship store and JR Osaka Mitsukoshi Isetan store are hosting the "JEAN PROUVE EXHIBITION." The highlight of this event is the exhibition and sale of the limited-edition collection, "JEAN PROUVE BY G-STAR RAW FOR VITRA." Captivated by Prouvé's Distinctive Design Aura

Founded in Amsterdam in 1989 as a premium denim brand, G-Star Raw has rapidly grown under the simple concept of "Just the Product." Their "RAW Crossover" series has achieved unique collaborations through its distinct aesthetic and philosophy, beginning with the "RAW-DEFENDER" for Land Rover, followed by the "RAW FERRY" from VIP Water Taxis, and now "Prouvé RAW."

In the summer of 2011, at the Vitra Campus Fire Station in Weil am Rhein, Germany, "Prouvé RAW Jean Prouvé by G-Star RAW for Vitra" was held. The creative teams at both Vitra and G-Star remodeled designs originally conceived by Jean Prouvé, bringing 17 captivating pieces back to life.

Prouvé's designs, with their somewhat futuristic forms, nonetheless exude a sense of humanism in every detail. This collection, a confluence of "respect" for the great designer and a "response from the present," emanates a sophisticated atmosphere. We encourage you to experience its aura firsthand at the stores.
