Thin, light, and quick-drying: Introducing new gauze & pile towels
New towel project "ℓℓℓworks" debuts
The new brand name, "ℓℓℓworks (Lululu Works)," is formed by stringing together the lowercase letter "ℓ" (L), which mimics the loops of towel pile.──This new towel project from Nissen Kōgyō, a specialized towel trading company in Osaka, was developed with the theme of "a lululu-like everyday, where young people can enjoy using towels 365 days a year." The first product, "FUTAE GAUZE & PILE," a double-woven towel, has now been released.

Produced in a factory in Senshu, Osaka
"Lululu Works" is a new towel project that collaborates with factories possessing excellent technology nationwide to create new towels with a focus on materials, manufacturing methods, and design. The first product, Futae Gauze & Pile, is made at the "Taketori Towel" factory in Senshu, Osaka, one of Japan's two major towel production areas.
All design aspects of Lululu Works, including product design, packaging, and displays, are handled byEight Branding Design, led byBranding Director NISHIZAWA Akihiro, which is already generating buzz.
The first product, Futae Gauze & Pile, is a towel woven with a double layer of smooth gauze and soft, gentle pile. Its charm lies in the two-tone colors where the gauze and pile differ, such as the combination of lustrous rouge gauze and skin-beige pile. Additionally, there are lucky motif patterned towels like four-leaf clovers, bluebirds, shooting stars, and "Great Luck," as well as fulfilling gift sets.
