"FRAMED" is released by "tha ltd.," a collective of designers and engineers led by Yugo Nakamura, known for his work as a web designer and video director. Developed to experience and appreciate digital art—which unfolds with diverse breadth and depth across various media such as graphics, video, and applications—within everyday spaces.

Through the dedicated online art gallery service "FRAMED GALLERY," users can purchase and collect works from artists worldwide, which can then be instantly played and viewed on "FRAMED."

With a thickness of just 36 millimeters, the device boasts a large 55-inch LED display. It also features a high-performance webcam, microphone, and Wi-Fi module, all integrated into a simple, beautiful design that eschews unnecessary curves and chamfers, with meticulous attention to detail.

Operation is handled via a dedicated app for iPhone or iPad, allowing for advanced tasks such as volume and brightness adjustments, artwork purchases, installations, and playback schedule settings to be performed with simple controls. Depending on the artwork, interaction with the "FRAMED" unit is also possible by using the iPhone's touch panel as a wireless trackpad.




Installation options include wall-mounting with a hanger, a stand, or a leaning configuration.

Showroom Opens in Omotesando


Furthermore, "FRAMED SPACE," a showroom where visitors can experience "FRAMED" firsthand, has opened in Omotesando. The latest collections from "FRAMED GALLERY" are also permanently exhibited, and a special exhibition curated by Yugo Nakamura is currently being held to commemorate the opening.


"FRAMED" brings digital art, previously confined to computers or museums, closer to home. It is a noteworthy interior device that combines sophisticated design with the appeal of a new digital tool.
