Since its founding in 1976, BEAMS has consistently led Japan's fashion culture. Today, with over 25 labels and more than 100 stores nationwide and internationally, it has transcended fashion to become a brand that disseminates culture.

Kenichi Aono serves as Creative Director for BEAMS, overseeing both fashion and music. How did he cultivate his discerning eye for the trends of the times?

Furthermore, we aim to explore the origins of Mr. Aono's thought process, which spans diverse activities including DJing and writing. We look forward to your attendance.



Kenichi Aono
As Creative Director for the select shop "BEAMS," he engages in activities that connect fashion, music, art, and literature. In 2010, he published his first collection of writings, "Meikyu-iki" (Tenkusha/BCCKS). He currently writes columns for magazines "OCEANS" and "ROCKS," as well as the literary magazine "IN THE CITY." He also performs as part of the DJ unit "Massao" with Mao Yamazaki (gm projects) and Sohei Tsurugaya (NEWPORT), and appeared at "SPECTACLE in the Farm 2010."
