The Dark Chrome Package, a first for the G 63, creates a calm and sophisticated atmosphere.

Since its debut as a cross-country vehicle, the G-Class has maintained its basic styling and robust body while undergoing updates to its powertrain and equipment. In 2018, it received a major update for the first time in approximately 40 years, featuring a newly designed frame, exterior, and interior.

The current G-Class, released in 2024, has also evolved, retaining its inherited DNA while embracing electrification with a mild-hybrid ISG and incorporating the new generation of driver assistance features in the "Driving Assistance Package."

The special edition announced this time features five MANUFAKTUR special exterior colors that are not available on the standard model. These include the solid colors "Classic Grey" and "Desert Sand," as well as the matte colors "Monza Grey Magno," "Citrine Brown Magno," and "Manga Night Grey Magno."

The exterior is equipped with the "MANUFAKTUR Dark Chrome Package," a first for the G 63. Unlike the traditional Night Package, it offers a subdued ambiance, resulting in a more refined impression.

The dark chrome finish is applied to various exterior elements, including the front and rear three-pointed stars, bonnet badges, and side strip lines. Combined with the AMG-specific dark chrome radiator grille, it brings a sense of unity to the entire vehicle.

Additionally, the side strip lines feature "G 63 Limited" lettering. The vehicle is fitted with 22-inch forged AMG alloy wheels, creating a fusion of AMG's signature styling and the exclusivity of MANUFAKTUR.

The interior is primarily black Nappa leather, with seats featuring diamond stitching. The passenger-side grab handle bears the "G 63 Limited" lettering, matching the exterior side strip lines.

The steering wheel is an "AMG Performance Steering Wheel" made of carbon fiber, also not available on the standard model. The interior is complemented by "AMG Carbon Fiber Interior Trim," creating a sporty space unique to carbon materials.

The luggage compartment also warrants attention. It features a "MANUFAKTUR Cherry Wood Luggage Floor," another exclusive option not found on standard models, offering a luxurious and distinctive space with the natural beauty of real wood.

Furthermore, the "MANUFAKTUR Edition" comes with a custom golf bag designed specifically for this limited model, perfectly fitting the luggage compartment. Based on the premium "Lynx Legend" model from the golf brand "Titleist," this non-sale item features "G63" and "AMG" logos. It's an 8.5-inch stand bag, with four dividers, compatible with 47-inch clubs.

The powertrain is a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo direct injection engine, the "M177," producing a maximum output of 430 kW (585 hp) and peak torque of 850 Nm. Combined with a mild-hybrid system providing a 15 kW (20 hp) electric boost, it achieves 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.4 seconds.

The "AMG Active Ride Control" suspension is standard, contributing to both on-road stability and high off-road capability.

Sales numbers for the solid color "Classic Grey" are 40 units with left-hand steering and 20 units with right-hand steering. For "Desert Sand," there are 30 units with left-hand steering and 20 units with right-hand steering.

For the matte colors – "Monza Grey Magno," "Citrine Brown Magno," and "Manga Night Grey Magno" – there will be 25 units each with left-hand steering and 5 units each with right-hand steering, totaling 200 units across all five colors.

The price for all models is 34.68 million yen, with matte colors incurring an additional option cost of 400,000 yen.
