Lamborghini has announced that development of the Squadra Corse circuit-only hypercar, the Lamborghini SCV12, is complete and its world premiere will be held this summer.

The SCV12 is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine that utilizes a high-speed, aerodynamically assisted supercharger, delivering over 830hp, making it the most powerful engine in Lamborghini's history.

Developed exclusively for the circuit, the new lightweight, all-carbon chassis incorporates a six-speed sequential gearbox as a structural element. The pushrod rear suspension is mounted directly to the gearbox, and the 19-inch front and 20-inch rear magnesium wheels are fitted with slick tires specially developed by Pirelli.

The exterior, designed by the company's design department, Centro Stile, achieves higher aerodynamic efficiency and downforce than a GT3 car. The double air intakes on the front hood and the central rib direct airflow to the ram-air intake manifold on the roof. This dynamic air pressure increases the static air pressure in the engine's intake manifold, boosting the volume of air entering the engine and thus increasing output. Furthermore, the front splitter, the lateral flicks and vertical fins on the side sills, and the rear carbon fiber wing emphasize its circuit-oriented nature, promising the ultimate handling and driving sensation.

Production will take place at the Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Owners will become members of a club, gaining access to exclusive driving programs at renowned circuits worldwide. They will also receive special instruction from Emanuele Pirro, a five-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner and special program consultant, under the technical guidance of Squadra Corse engineers.
