Button and Magnussen Enjoyed Interacting with Guests
Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen, F1 drivers for McLaren-Mercedes, were invited as guests to "McLaren Tokyo," McLaren's showroom in Aoyama, for a one-day special party, "A McLaren Night."
With the F1 Japanese Grand Prix about to begin, the event kicked off with a toast from Jenson Button in front of a crowd of McLaren owners and other guests. During the talk show, he spoke about his aspirations for the Japanese Grand Prix. A surprise birthday cake and a "Happy Birthday to You" song from everyone in the venue were prepared for Kevin Magnussen, who would celebrate his 22nd birthday on October 5th, adding to the party's excitement.
Both drivers enjoyed interacting with McLaren fans, readily posing for commemorative photos and signing autographs. After the event, Magnussen also took a drive through the streets of Tokyo in the passenger seat of a McLaren 650S Spider at the request of the press.
The F1 Japanese Grand Prix, held at Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture, will feature qualifying on Saturday, October 4th, and the final race on Sunday, October 5th. We look forward to their performance.
