Circuit-Only P1 GTR and Bespoke Models Unveiled
McLaren will present the concept for the circuit-only P1 GTR, based on the P1, along with the circuit-only 650S Sprint and limited editions of the P1 and 650S Spider, all crafted by McLaren's bespoke division, at the "Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance" automotive event taking place this weekend.

McLaren's Aggressive Stance This Summer
To be held on the US West Coast from August 15th,Pebble Beach Concours d'EleganceMcLaren will exhibit the "P1 GTR Design Concept," a circuit-only racing machine based on the "P1," which made its debut at theGeneva Motor Showinsupercarin 2013.P1
The P1 GTR is a special model developed based on requests from P1 owners, and will be offered exclusively to P1 owners through a comprehensive package that includes driving events, training, and vehicle support.
Production is scheduled to begin in June 2015, coinciding with the final P1 rolling off the line from the current limited production run of 375 units. This also marks the 20th anniversary of the McLaren "F1 GTR" winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race in 1995.

McLaren is also set to announce the track-exclusive "650S Sprint" simultaneously. Based on the "650S Coupe," this model features enhancements such as upgraded brakes, optimized Proactive Chassis Control (PCC) for track driving, 19-inch center-locking wheels, an FIA-approved roll cage, HANS-certified racing seats, and an integrated fire extinguisher, all essential for racing.
Optional parts specifically for track use are also available, including a carbon fiber rear wing and front splitter, a polycarbonate windscreen, and a 6-point passenger seatbelt. The price has been announced at 198,000 Euros.
This year's Pebble Beach event will also feature the P1, produced by McLaren's bespoke division "McLaren Special Operations (MSO)," and the "MSO 650S Spider," based on the "650S Spider" with special interior and exterior materials and color schemes.
