Jaguar's New Two-Seater Sports Car

Jaguar Land Rover Japan is holding a collaborative event with Virgin Atlantic Airways to commemorate the launch of Jaguar's new two-seater sports car, the "F-Type Coupe."

The event will take place over two days, July 3rd (Thursday) and 4th (Friday). Both the "F-Type Coupe" and its open-top sibling, the "F-Type Convertible," will be on display at TOKYO CITY VIEW on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.

The "F-Type Coupe" garnered significant attention when it was unveiled to the world at last year's Tokyo Motor Show. Its sleek styling was crafted by Jaguar's Design Director, Ian Callum, who has a distinguished history of designing sports cars. The form realized is closer to the concept model "C-X16" announced in 2011.

The models released in Japan will be available in three types: "F-Type Coupe," "F-Type S Coupe," and "F-Type R Coupe." The top-grade "F-Type R Coupe" features a 5-liter V8 supercharged engine, delivering a maximum output of 495kW (550ps) and peak torque of 680Nm, offering a powerful drive that is both luxurious and distinctly Jaguar.
