Showcasing Dynamic Performance

The video released by Alfa Romeo captures the 4C, for which Alfa Romeo is steadily preparing for launch, driving at the Balocco Circuit, the Fiat Group's test track located west of Milan, Italy. While this circuit is now the Fiat Group's test track, it was originally an Alfa Romeo test track, making it a home ground for the 4C.

The video shows the car navigating corners in a drift and braking on a wet surface.

To reiterate, the Alfa Romeo 4C is a model designed to be an affordable supercar, achieving high performance from its modest 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine, which is mid-ship mounted, all within an ultra-lightweight package of just 895kg.

The video above features the standard model, while the video below showcases the "Launch Edition" which has been announced at a price of 60,000 euros. Commercialization is expected in 2014.
