Polo Storico, Lamborghini's in-house department for classic cars established in 2016, is responsible for restoring spare parts for classic cars, aiming to maintain them in a condition as close to the original as possible.

The Miura SV belonging to FIA President Jean Todt was the subject of Polo Storico's latest work. This Miura inherited chassis number #3673 from a 1968 Miura S that had been scrapped after an accident, and was delivered to South Africa in 1972. It was specified with a Rosso Corsa red body color combined with gold on the lower section only, and a black leather interior.

Polo Storico spent 13 months on the restoration. The car was completely disassembled, and every detail was checked, from the frame and body to the interior markings and the numbers and dates inscribed on each part. In conjunction with manufacturing records preserved by Lamborghini, the restoration prioritized 'repair' and 'reconstruction' over replacement.

At the venue, a ceremony was held where Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stefano Domenicali personally handed the keys to President Jean Todt. Also on display was a 1966 Lamborghini 400GT, owned by a Canadian collector and currently undergoing restoration by Polo Storico.
