Designed for Track Use
A key feature of the Lamborghini SC18 is its aerodynamics, developed exclusively for this model by Squadra Corse based on their racing experience, with the car intended for track use.
Details include air intakes on the front hood reminiscent of the Huracán GT3 EVO, fenders inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO on the sides and rear, fins, air scoops, a large, three-position adjustable carbon fiber wing at the rear for optimal downforce on track, and a rear hood with 12 air intakes that have proven effective in improving cooling performance in endurance racing.
The powertrain consists of a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine producing a maximum output of 770 hp at 8,500 rpm and 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, paired with a 7-speed transmission optimized by ISR (Independent Shifting Rod). The ground clearance is kept to a minimum of 109 mm, and the rear exhaust is said to produce a distinctive sound.
The ultra-lightweight body, made of carbon fiber, is painted Grigio Daytona gray with red screen printing to emphasize its sportiness. The center-lock 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels are fitted with specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
The interior features Nero Ade black Alcantara with red Rosse Alala cross-stitching and carbon fiber bucket seats. It is equipped with a telemetry system to measure all performance aspects during track driving, yet it is also road-legal.
