Hollow Open Bowtie Contributes to Improved Performance

The "Camaro," which underwent a full model change to its sixth generation last year, has received a facelift.

The lineup remains unchanged, offering three models: the "LT RS" and "Convertible" equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine, and the top-grade "SS" with a 6.2-liter V8 engine. While the rear end, LED headlights, and LED signature lamps have also been redesigned in this minor change, the front design is what has been completely renewed.

For the Japanese market, to comply with safety regulations, the front face adopts a common design across all three models. The central trademark and bowtie are integrated with a black grille bar, evolving into a more rugged appearance.

The hollow open bowtie, featuring a new design, also contributes to improved performance. Increased airflow reduces coolant and engine oil temperatures, proving particularly effective during extended circuit driving.

Furthermore, the top-grade "SS" model is equipped with a large extractor-style hood on the center of the hood for air expulsion, enhancing engine bay cooling and aerodynamics. It also newly features a newly developed 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

In terms of safety equipment, a frameless rear camera mirror has been newly adopted. Its zoom, angle, and brightness can be adjusted via button operation, and it displays high-precision streaming images with resolution equivalent to full HD. The infotainment system has also been upgraded to a next-generation unit with enhanced resolution, offering intuitive operation akin to a smartphone.

The body colors now include the newly added Riverside Blue Metallic, bringing the total to five colors. Prices are ¥5,292,000 for the LT RS, ¥6,156,000 for the Convertible, and ¥6,804,000 for the SS.

Special Limited Edition Launch Model Featuring Heritage Colors

In line with this minor model change, a special limited edition "Launch Edition" featuring "Crush," a heritage-inspired orange exterior color, has been set for the entry-grade "LT RS" and the top model "SS."

Sales volume and prices are: 20 units limited for the LT RS at ¥5,616,000, and 30 units limited for the "SS" at ¥7,128,000.
