The Chevrolet Corvette" has represented American sports for over 60 years since its debut in 1953, with a lineage spanning seven generations. It has been supported by many fans not only as a road car but also as a super sports model with a brilliant track record in world endurance races such as the "24 Hours of Le Mans."

The "Carbon 65 Edition" is a special model produced in a limited run of 650 units worldwide to commemorate the Corvette's upcoming 65th anniversary next year (2018).

The base models are the current Corvette's "Grand Sport" and the top model "Z06." As the name suggests, both feature extensive use of lightweight, high-rigidity carbon fiber in their interiors and exteriors.

Specific features include the "Visible Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package" on the exterior, with a carbon fiber rear spoiler, quarter intake ducts, and roof panel. The body color is a new "Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic," accented with "Carbon 65 Edition" graphics on the fenders and doors. Black-painted aluminum wheels with carbon fiber center caps provide a sharp finish to the stance.

The interior features a gloss-finished carbon instrument panel, a steering wheel combining suede microfiber and a carbon rim, jet black trim with striking blue accent stitching, and competition sport bucket seats, creating a race-inspired cockpit. A badge indicating the limited production serial number (out of 650) is also mounted on the center console.

While the V8 OHV engine of the "Grand Sport," producing a maximum output of 343kW (466ps) and a maximum torque of 630Nm, and the V8 OHV supercharged engine of the "Z06," producing a maximum output of 485kW and a maximum torque of 881Nm, remain unchanged, customers can choose between a 7-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission for the rear-wheel drive when placing a custom pre-order.
