Original Performance Restored

Lamborghini Polo Storico is the restoration division where skilled engineers meticulously bring legendary classic Lamborghinis back to life. Today, they handle not only restorations but also archive management and the provision of original spare parts.

The "350GT" restored on this occasion is the fourth full restoration project, following the "Miura," "LM002," and "Countach." It is a recreation of one of the first 15 units of Lamborghini's very first production road car, originally manufactured in 1964.

The restoration required 1,150 hours for the aluminum body and interior, plus an additional 780 hours for mechanical and electrical system checks. Original Lamborghini parts were used for the repair, and for components no longer available, new parts were custom-fabricated based on original drawings and blueprints.

The black leather interior has been renewed using traditional craftsmanship. The wooden steering wheel, along with the original accelerator, clutch, and brake pedals, have been repaired where worn, and the radio is fully functional, just as it was in 1964.

The 3.5-liter V12 engine, producing a maximum output of 270 hp, has also been restored. During a test drive demonstration at "Rétromobile 2017," it showcased its original performance with precise gear changes and braking.

This revival of the 350GT, the root of Lamborghini's lineage of numerous super sports cars, brings back to the 21st century the sports car hailed as Lamborghini's most elegant, more than half a century after its creation.
