HDD Navigation Included, Priced Lower Than the Base Model

In 1927, Volvo began building cars with the debut of its first model, the "ÖV4," which would later be affectionately known as "Jakob." Next year marks the brand's 90th anniversary.

The special limited edition "V40 T3 Anniversary Edition" has been released to commemorate this milestone year. Based on the "T3 Kinetic," the entry-level gasoline engine model of the V40, it comes equipped with the HDD Navigation Package.

The powertrain features a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing a maximum output of 112 kW (152 ps) and peak torque of 250 Nm (25.5 kgm). The front fascia is adorned with T-shaped LED position lights, inspired by Thor's Hammer, which were introduced in the minor model change this past July.

Additionally, safety features include the standard "IntelliSafe" system, which incorporates a pedestrian airbag and a collision avoidance and mitigation system with pedestrian and cyclist detection.

The body is available in six colors, including Ice White and Passion Red. With a limited production of 200 units, the price is set at 3.29 million yen, 100,000 yen less than the base model.
