New LED Daytime Running Lights and Touchscreen Audio Introduced

Fiat's iconic compact model, the "500," has received its first minor change since its introduction to Japan in 2008.

The engines remain unchanged: the 1.2-liter 4-cylinder "1.2 POP" and the 0.9-liter twin-turbo "TwinAir." Changes are primarily to the exterior and interior.

The exterior now features LED daytime running lights that automatically illuminate when the engine is started. While details like the shape of the taillights and the rear bumper have been altered, the overall impression maintains the concept.

Inside, the audio system has been upgraded to a 5-inch touchscreen. A USB port and auxiliary input have been added to the center console, enhancing infotainment features. The steering wheel design has also been revised, incorporating controls for audio and hands-free functions.

The body color lineup now includes Mint Green and Countrypolitan Yellow, previously exclusive to limited editions, alongside Bossa Nova White, Paso Doble Red, Ice White, and Blue Volare, for a total of six colors.

Pricing starts at ¥1,998,000 for the 1.2-liter "500 1.2 POP," ¥2,527,200 for the "500 1.2 POP" Cabriolet. The 0.9-liter 2-cylinder turbo "500 TwinAir POP" is ¥2,289,600, with the higher-grade "500 TwinAir POP Lounge" at ¥2,592,000. The "500C TwinAir Lounge" Cabriolet is ¥2,797,200.
