The Bugatti Experience for Global Fans

Having completed the production of all 450 "Veyron" units, as had been stated from the time of its announcement, theFinal Versionwas exhibited in March at theGeneva Motor ShowBugatti exhibit. While no explicit statement has been made regarding the successor to the supercar equipped with an 8-liter W16 engine producing over 1,000 ps, a "new model" will be presented in a different form at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

The new model is the "Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo." As the name suggests, it is a virtual racing machine developed for the PlayStation racing game "Gran Turismo," created by Polyphony Digital.

The "Vision Gran Turismo" series is a project initiated for the 15th anniversary of Gran Turismo, where various automotive brands contribute virtual sports cars. It has seen releases from numerous brands worldwide, includingMercedes-Benzand BMW, as well asToyota,Nissan,Aston Martin, and others.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles, stated, "While Bugatti can only be owned by a very select group of automotive enthusiasts, we are incredibly fortunate that the brand is cherished by so many people around the world. With the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, we can offer that experience to those who may not have the opportunity to interact with a Bugatti. This is a project for our Bugatti fans."

Furthermore, Achim Anscheidt, Head of Design, explained, "The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is not intended to be something unrealistic, as often seen in games. We developed it with the goal of it being able to race on real circuits, beyond the virtual space. While its appearance is somewhat exaggerated and performance-oriented due to this objective, it still embodies the design language that Bugatti envisions for the coming years." Thus, it is not merely a design for winning in a game, but one that suggests Bugatti's future design direction with a sense of reality.

Currently, only a single image has been released, but its full form will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
