An Open-Air Drive with the Zenith Windshield

The "C3," popular for its compact body, expansive "Zenith windshield" that creates a sense of openness, unique rounded form, and supple ride, has become a core model for Citroën. Since its launch in Japan in May 2010, it has sold 1,220 units in its first year and now accounts for approximately 40 percent of sales.

The "C3 AIRPLAY," offered in a limited edition of 150 units, is named to evoke a feeling of unity with the scenery and air experienced through its vast Zenith windshield. In addition to its enhanced interior and exterior, it includes a reassuring maintenance plan.

Features include chrome door mirror covers, exclusive black Mistral fabric seats, and a black or white brilliant dashboard, along with EPS (Electronic Stability Program). The price is set at 2.14 million yen, a modest 50,000 yen increase over the base "C3," and includes the "Citroën Maintenance Program Light Plan," valued at 56,700 yen, which covers two statutory inspections every 12 months, two engine oil and oil filter changes, and replacement of specified wear parts.

It is powered by a 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine, delivering a maximum output of 120 ps at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 160 Nm at 4,250 rpm. The body is available in five color options.
