McLaren 650S Specs Revealed

McLaren Automotive84th Geneva Motor Showhas announced the performance data for its latest model, the "650S," which will have its world premiere at the event.

Acceleration That Surpasses Even the MP4-12C

Performance data for the new "650S" model, set to be unveiled by British sports car manufacturer McLaren Automotive at the Geneva Motor Show, has finally been revealed.

The 3.8-liter V8 twin-turbo unit mounted in the car delivers a maximum output of 650ps. It achieves 0-100km/h acceleration in just 3.0 seconds and 0-200km/h in 8.4 seconds, with a top speed of 333km/h. This 0-200km/h acceleration time is more than 0.5 seconds faster than theMP4-12Ccompared to the "MP4-12C." Despite this level of performance, aerodynamic optimization enhances usability and the sense of connection with the car.

The equipment is also comprehensive, with standard features including carbon-ceramic brakes, lightweight alloy wheels combined with Pirelli P ZERO CORSA tires, and Bluetooth-compatible IRIS satellite navigation. The interior is finished in Alcantara. Additionally, a wide range of options are available, such as carbon racing seats with fixed backrests based on the lightweight design of the "P1" announced at last year's Geneva show, an electric steering column, and carbon fiber interior trim.

The 650S, described as the crystallization of McLaren's 50 years of expertise in road cars and racing machines, is available in coupe and spider body styles. Prices in the UK have been announced at £195,250 (approximately 33 million yen) for the coupe and £215,250 (approximately 36.4 million yen) for the spider.
