The concept car "Gloria" was jointly created by the Alfa Romeo Style Center and the design school "IED (Istituto Europeo di Design)" in Turin, Italy, under the directive to "present a completely new image of the future saloon that Alfa Romeo envisions for the American and Asian markets."

According to the press release, the car's body dimensions are 4,700mm (length) x 1,920mm (width) x 1,320mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,900mm. It is said to be powered by a V6 or V8 twin-turbo engine.

While "Gloria" is purely a concept, if realized,Mercedes-Benz C-Classit would likely be positioned for the D-segment, competing with models like theBMW 3 Series,Audi A4and so on. With the successor to the "Alfa Romeo 159," which debuted in 2005, having been absent, there is great anticipation for its arrival. The car will be unveiled as a 1/1 full-scale model at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
