The exterior boasts an extremely racy appearance, befitting the name of Maserati's racing division, MC (Maserati Corse). The overall length has been extended by 48mm, and it features a specially designed front bumper, air outlets on the hood for engine cooling, and a large rear diffuser. With a thorough pursuit of aerodynamics, downforce has been increased by 25 percent at the front and 50 percent at the rear compared to the GranCabrio and GranCabrio Sport (at 140 km/h).



The transmission is a ZF 6-speed automatic (MC Auto Shift), paired with a single-clutch robotized manual transmission. Drivers can select from five driving modes: "Manual Normal," "Manual Sport," "Auto Normal," "Auto Sport," and "Ice," all operated via paddle shifters. Gear changes in "Sport" mode are reportedly 50 percent faster than in the GranTurismo Sport.



The suspension of this GranCabrio MC has also been redesigned and reinforced. The brakes utilize Maserati's proprietary dual-cast system, requiring only 35 meters to stop from 100 km/h. Furthermore, in conjunction with these performance enhancements, the traditional monocoque chassis has been improved. Reinforced steel is used for the base, while aluminum and alloys are employed for moving parts. This not only reduces weight but also significantly enhances torsional rigidity.
