L Stands for Large
Following the "Abarth" and "Cabrio," the "L" in this model stands for Large. Measuring 4140mm long, 1780mm wide, and 1660mm tall, it's significantly larger than the previous 500. It offers the space of an MPV and the ride of a small SUV, with five seats and five doors, all within the dimensions and fuel efficiency of a B-segment car. According to Fiat, its concept is a spiritual successor to the 600 Multipla.
Sales in Europe are slated for the fourth quarter of 2012. The engine options appear to be a TwinAir and a 1.4-liter gasoline engine.
