A New Addition to the Series: "Prisme Libre Première"

At the event, held at "The Classica Tokyo" in Roppongi, Tokyo, with Nicolas Degennes, who flew to Japan for the occasion, a makeup demonstration using the new products on a model was presented. Between product introductions, behind-the-scenes stories from the campaign visual shoots featuring model Mariacarla Boscono and anecdotes about product development were shared, with Degennes's approachable personality easing the atmosphere of the venue.



Also unveiled were a new felt-tip eyeliner that draws a jet-black line, a new mascara with a uniquely shaped brush, and the Autumn/Winter collection "Extravaganza." Degennes himself remarked, "This might be the first time I've introduced so many new products at once," highlighting the abundance of news from GIVENCHY this autumn. Among these, the renewal of the loose powder "Prisme Libre," a brand heritage item, garnered significant attention.

The formula has been evolved with three newly selected color palettes that control skin tone impression and proprietary technology. The powder particles, micronized to the extreme, are made uniform in size, further enhancing adherence to the skin for an even more refined and delicate finish. This long-lasting powder offers a light, chiffon-like feel as it glides onto the skin.



New additions have also joined the series with this renewal. The new product, named "Prisme Libre Première," is a colorless loose powder that blends with any skin tone to achieve a refined semi-matte complexion. During the demonstration, Degennes showed a technique where, after applying foundation and preparing the skin with "Prisme Libre Première," the desired skin impression was achieved using "Prisme Libre." The natural skin-like finish, without feeling heavy even when layered, was maintained, preventing makeup breakdown and keeping the skin ideally translucent for extended periods.

Allow us to share another tip from Nicolas Degennes. "After eye makeup, apply an extra layer under your eyes. When you apply powder eyeshadow on your eyelids, some powder tends to fall underneath, doesn't it? If you then apply 'Prisme Libre Première' over it and sweep a brush across the entire area, it will catch the eyeshadow powder and, with a reflector effect, brighten the eye area. I highly recommend it." It's a simple technique, so please try to incorporate it.



After the demonstration, guests moved to the second floor. There, they were invited to a fragrance testing corner featuring all of GIVENCHY's women's fragrances, including a limited-edition fragrance launching in July. On the third floor, with its scenic views, guests could experience hand massages using the new night cream released this summer and nail care where they could try limited-edition colors of "Vernis Givenchy." Adorning their fingertips with metallic shades, they departed after a fulfilling event that lasted approximately one hour.

The new products introduced on this day will be released sequentially from June. The Autumn/Winter collection "Extravaganza," launching on Friday, August 8th, will be available in limited quantities. The highly anticipated "Prisme Libre" series is scheduled for release on Friday, September 5th. We encourage you to experience the efficacy of this evolved icon on your own skin.
