Kiehl's, a skincare brand born from a New York apothecary, opens its new shop in Ginza on Friday, March 29. Special kits and limited edition items will also be released to commemorate this opening.

Limited Edition Kit Collaborating with Hello Kitty Also Arrives

Kiehl's was born 162 years ago in 1851 as an apothecary in New York's East Village. Since then, it has continued to offer high-quality items formulated with naturally derived ingredients, based on knowledge of herbs, pharmacy, and science. The first two-story street-level store for Kiehl's has now opened in Ginza. It's a shop that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the brand's world, creating a space befitting the luxurious Ginza area, perfect for fashionistas who don't neglect their beauty.

Furthermore, a series of special projects to commemorate this opening are launching. Of particular note is a limited edition kit where a portion of the sales will be donated to support reconstruction efforts in Eastern Japan. The ribbon on Hello Kitty symbolizes "connecting people," and this is linked to the desire to "play a role in connecting people with children in Tohoku." A special item has been created, featuring a newly released BB cream, mini sizes of cleansing foam, toner, and serum, along with an original eco-bag and can badge featuring Hello Kitty in a lab coat (the black version is exclusive to the Ginza store). A portion of the sales will be donated to the continuous operation of the Fukushima Indoor Park, enabling children in Tohoku to play more.

Additionally, the popular mango-flavored lip balm will be available in a limited quantity exclusively at the Ginza store. A special offer provides one mini-sized item from a selection of 16 types with every purchase of ¥3,150 or more. Don't miss the "Kiehl's Crème de Corps Whipped Body Butter," available in limited editions at the Ginza, Harajuku, and Kobe stores. This fluffy whipped cream, formulated with moisturizing ingredients like squalane, shea butter, and jojoba butter, leads to hydrated, smooth skin.
