──What were Karl Lagerfeld's requests for the makeup in this show?

He asked for a fresh and relaxed makeup look.

──Please describe the makeup and the products used.

The goal was an effortless finish. We wanted to enhance the skin's natural beauty with a hint of shadow on the eyelids and a touch of color on the cheeks. For the skin, I used a new foundation currently in development (to be released in 2012), but "Vitalumière Aqua" is also recommended for an easy, natural effect.

For the eyes, I used "Stylo Yeux Waterproof" in #10 Ebène and "Inimitable Waterproof" in #10 Noir. Then, with "Les 4 Ombres" in #33 Prélude (a new fall 2011 shade), I created a subtle shadow on the eyelids. It's an eyeshadow palette with colors that truly allow you to create a "shadow."

On the cheeks, I applied "Joues Contraste" in #65 Espièglerie, and for the lips, only CHANEL's "Soin Tendre Levres" lip treatment balm was used.

──Do you have any professional tips that we can try ourselves?

The key to this look is beautifully curled lashes, with a waterproof mascara to hold the curl.
