Introducing the Latest Measurement System for Shoe Selection: "ASICS FOOT ID"
The store has introduced “ASICS FOOT ID,” which combines “Gait Analysis,” a dynamic measurement of foot movement during running, with static foot measurement using a 3D foot scanner. This service, currently available only at three ASICS stores in London, New York, and Harajuku, allows customers to choose shoes tailored to their individual feet and running style. The system has been developed to scientifically and objectively assess foot movement during running, which was previously judged by visual inspection or slow-motion video analysis. The introduction of this “Gait Analysis” system makes it possible to provide a globally standardized service, independent of the individual skills and experience of the store staff.
As a place that constantly proposes new running lifestyles, it is a shop that can be enjoyed not only by serious runners but also by beginner runners who are thinking of starting to run.
