Vibrant Living Requires Superior Cells

—What inspired you to develop skincare products in the first place?

When you look in the mirror and notice your age, what part of you do you see it in? Isn't it your skin? I believe you Japanese will understand, but we French are also a people who value beautiful skin.
However, efforts to maintain fine-textured skin through a balanced diet and sufficient sleep, focusing on inner beauty, have their limits when it comes to combating aging. Therefore, my personal motivation was the realization that external care is also crucial for slowing down aging.
When developing these items, I focused on cells, which I have been researching from a medical perspective for 25 years.

—The word 'cells' sounds rather complex.

What do you think is the natural human lifespan? It's actually 120 years. However, even in Japan, renowned as the country with the world's longest life expectancy, the average lifespan for women is about 85 years. This is because factors like diet, environment, smoking, and alcohol shorten our lifespan on a point-deduction basis.
Cells, which form the human body, are responsible for aging. The human body can be broadly divided into three parts: the brain, heart, and internal organs, and cells are similar. The nucleus of a cell corresponds to the brain, and around it are structures that perform functions similar to internal organs.
Cells use nutrients as energy to regenerate new cells, but after peaking around age 50, cell growth follows a gentle downward curve. Aging slowly and maintaining good condition to live a vibrant life is only possible with superior cells. Therefore, it is essential to provide cells with good nutrition and slow down the aging process.

—Nourishing microscopic cells sounds like something beyond imagination; I can't quite picture it.

That's where the "Dr. Claude Chauchard Extreme Youth" line plays a crucial role.
Through nanodispersions, meaning breaking down ingredients to the nano level, the components achieve ten times the penetration power of conventional products, making them easily absorbed by cells.

—You are also particular about the ingredients, aren't you?

My logic for cosmetic ingredients is that consuming high-quality food allows us to provide effective nutrients to our cells. I carefully select ingredients that benefit the 'brain' within the cell nucleus, such as hyaluronic acid to promote skin regeneration, minerals, vitamins E and C, and substances that protect against free radicals.
Furthermore, the central plant essence improves blood circulation, which enhances cellular turnover. This, in turn, speeds up the rate at which cells absorb nutrients. Matrikine accelerates collagen production and has wound-healing effects, while fibronectin supports cell protection, leading to skin with the elasticity of youth.
Moreover, I have minimized the use of additives such as colorants, fragrances, and preservatives, making the products less likely to cause allergies.

—Globally, Japanese women are known for their discerning standards when it comes to skincare. Why did you choose to launch in Japan?

Although Japan and France are geographically distant, we are countries that share many cultural similarities, valuing tradition rooted in long history and having a strong appreciation for food. Furthermore, as I touched upon earlier, the cultures of both Japanese and French people hold a similar reverence for beautiful skin.

Japanese women, as leaders in the global cosmetics market, have exceptionally high standards. However, I have been researching anti-aging for 25 years and am confident in my expertise. I truly want Japanese consumers to experience my masterpiece.
