Beyond this pier lies the spa facility, Talise Spa.
Munna's 60-minute lessons, which captivate both guests and staff, are complimentary for the first two sessions, meaning they are included in the accommodation fee.
From Swedish massage, said to improve lymphatic flow, to Thai massage, which loosens a stiff mind and body with acrobatic movements, there are courses perfect for detoxifying from everyday fatigue.
Snorkeling is another recommended activity, meant to "switch your internal clock to resort mode." One 60-minute lesson is included in the accommodation fee.
Our instructor was Ahmad Goshim, a Maldivian who truly embodies the term "man of the sea."
The "Best Diving Center" is staffed by 3-4 professional divers at all times, providing instruction tailored to each guest's level.
About 50 meters from the sandy shore, the water color changes from ramune blue to deep blue, and the variety and number of fish increase dramatically.
Led by Goshim, we moved offshore. Following his pointed direction, we discovered a turtle, and not just any turtle, but a colossal sea turtle.
Spa facility reception
Yoga lessons are held in a studio with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean.
There are various lessons available, from the morning yoga "Rise & Shine" to invigorate the body, to the evening yoga "Relax & Rejuvenate" to relax the mind and body and promote restful sleep. Choose according to your condition and mood.
Treatment room at Jumeirah's signature spa, Talise Spa
Instructor Elmer Munna, from the Philippines. He is a master, responsible for all programs outside of spa treatments, including yoga, Pilates, and fitness.
A space is also provided for guests to relax after their treatments.
A studio equipped with training machines. Private lessons are also available, each lasting 60 minutes.
Front Manager Wally Fernandez. "For those who usually don't have time for themselves due to busy schedules, we want them to spend their time here at Jumeirah Dhevanafushi as they please. It is the job of the butlers and myself to make every effort to ensure that happens."
This is a hot pot inspired by Japanese shabu-shabu.
Jumeirah Dhevanafushi's charm lies in its unique concept: despite being a five-star resort, "barefoot is always okay." From breakfast to dinner, you can wear anything as long as you are barefoot.
Every evening, various themed events are held. This particular night was "Seafood Night Buffet."
Dining isn't limited to restaurants. If you wish for a romantic dinner by the sea, a reservation will provide a magnificent sofa and table setup within about two hours. Naturally, it's all made of sand.
The restaurant "Mummayz," known for its lobster and champagne, delivers meals directly to the beach.
Johara, the all-day dining restaurant, is open from breakfast through dinner.
A breakfast staple for Maldivians is "Mas Huni." It's a dish of spiced tuna flakes wrapped in roshi bread.
Popular breakfast item: Eggs Benedict
Azala, a restaurant built within the water villa complex. Dining while listening to the sound of the waves is exceptional.
We spotted "SASIMI" on the menu. When we tried ordering it, sashimi with a slight Maldivian twist appeared.
The menu features seafood-centric dishes, such as teppanyaki.
