JOURNAL STANDARD | Mil-spec gear from San Francisco

DSPITCH, a San Francisco-based brand offering authentic military-spec gear.
Founded in San Francisco in 2010 by designer Richard Liu, DSPTCH began as a camera strap manufacturer, inspired by military hardware. Its camera straps, made with abrasion-resistant, mil-spec nylon and parachute cord used by the U.S. military, quickly gained attention from photographers for their functionality and quality. The minimalist design also proved popular, making them instant bestsellers.
The collection includes items such as business bags, backpacks, laptop cases, and iPad cases. All are constructed with highly durable materials, including water-repellent 1680-denier ballistic nylon, Duraflex zippers, and mil-spec webbing.
