The name "Stingray," newly added in the home country, refers to the stingray. The body sides feature badges with the stingray symbolized.
The 6.2-liter V8 direct-injection OHV boasts a maximum output of 460 hp and 624 Nm of torque in the coupe. With the Z51, these figures increase to 466 hp and 630 Nm, respectively.

Can accommodate the CFRP roof panel
Z51 features a 1-inch larger tire size front and rear: 245/35R19 and 285/30R20
Even on the 7-speed manual model, the paddles remain as the synchro-rev control switch.
The 6-speed automatic transmission can also be operated with paddle shifters.
A 7-speed manual transmission is available for both the coupe and Z51.
The new Corvette features five drive modes: Weather, Eco, Tour, Sport, and Track. The default is Tour.
