Grand C4 Picasso Makes Japanese Debut
With its light blue body and distinctive front grille, few people would pass by the Citroen booth without stopping. The "Grand C4 Picasso" is that car, boasting a unique and beautiful style that redefines the minivan. While sales of the C4 Picasso ended in Japan with its model change, the release of its successor has finally been announced for the autumn of the following year.
The new Grand C4 Picasso is a 7-seater, and the Japanese specification model will be equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo engine paired with a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The dashboard features two digital screens: a 12-inch and a 7-inch. Operations for air conditioning, audio, and navigation can be controlled via the 7-inch touchscreen. Additionally, optional features include a 360 vision system that displays a top-down view of the vehicle's surroundings using this monitor, active cruise control that maintains a set distance from the vehicle ahead, and lane departure warning that alerts the driver of unintended lane changes.
Also on display at the booth is the popular open-top model "DS3 Cabrio," which was just released this autumn.
