Concept Cars for the Digital Generation Also Unveiled
In addition to the previously announced "BladeGlider," Nissan unveiled two concept cars: the "IDx Freeflow" and the "IDx NISMO."The "BladeGlider" is an EV concept inspired by gliders and delta wings. Incorporating aerodynamic principles, its triangular wing shape—with a narrow front tread and a wide, stable rear tread—achieves downforce that clings to the road while minimizing air resistance to the extreme. This combination, Nissan claims, delivers otherworldly cornering and acceleration performance along with exceptional energy efficiency. The battery is a lithium-ion type, the same used in the Leaf. The seating layout is also unique, with the driver's seat positioned centrally, flanked by two rear seats, making it a three-seater.
The "IDx Freeflow" and "IDx NISMO" were developed through a process of co-creation with customers born after the 1990s, aiming to appeal to this demographic. The Freeflow embodies a concept of simplicity and cleanliness, yet with a sense of authenticity. The NISMO, on the other hand, is a concept that reflects the image of the digital world of gaming, through which this generation has become familiar with racing, applied to a real car.
Also on display are many other new models, including the recently face-lifted "GT-R" and the "X-Trail," which is on the verge of a full model change. " title="01_nissan_idx_nismo" data-src="/galleries/images/000/173/004/medium/2a1be7b8-cec8-493c-bad0-bfa2e29574d4.jpg">
