A Full Model Change After 25 Years
Subaru's centerpiece is the "Levorg," described as a fusion of sports and touring car. The body measures 4,960mm in length, 1,780mm in width, and 1,485mm in height, housing a horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DIT (Direct Injection Turbo) engine. Displacement options are 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter, both paired with a Lineartronic (CVT) transmission. The 1.6-liter model achieves 17.4 km/L fuel efficiency, meeting the goal of 1,000km driving on a single tank. The 2.0-liter engine boasts a maximum output of 221kW (300ps) and a peak torque of 400Nm (40.8kgm) from just 2,000rpm. Subaru's renowned EyeSight safety system, utilizing cameras, is the evolved ver.3.As its name suggests, the Levorg is a touring wagon positioned as the successor to the domestic Legacy, marking its "full model change after 25 years." Although the exhibited vehicle is a reference display, its release in spring next year is confirmed, with reservations opening in January 2014.
Additionally, the "VIZIV EVOLUTION Concept" and "CROSS SPORT DESIGN concept" were also on display.
