BUILDING | A sales event featuring a comprehensive collection of furniture designed by George Nelson is being held at the gallery.

<strong>BUILDING</strong>　"GEORGE NELSON IN THE BUILDING"　The "DAF" Swag Leg Group, released by Herman Miller in 1958. While polypropylene versions have been reissued by Herman Miller since 2007, the original FRP models were only manufactured and sold for about six years until 1964. Very few of these exist today, making it one of Nelson's rarest items alongside the "MAA" Swag Leg Group. This is a rare two-tone color variation.

<strong>BUILDING</strong>　"GEORGE NELSON IN THE BUILDING"　Nelson Platform Bench from the late 1940s to early 1950s. Originally available in six sizes, this is the 56-1/4 inch (#4991) black color type, not produced in current models. It features a very rare early design with rounded edges on the leg openings.

<strong>BUILDING</strong>　"GEORGE NELSON IN THE BUILDING"　Herman Miller's Basic Cabinet Series, in original 1950s condition. According to catalogs from the era, a semi-custom order system allowed for free combination of over 20 size variations, materials, leg types, and handle types. This piece features an unusual combination of a walnut body with oak fronts.

<strong>BUILDING</strong>　"GEORGE NELSON IN THE BUILDING"　Modular Seating Series, manufactured and sold by Herman Miller from 1956 to 1978. Employing Nelson's signature modular system, it allowed for various configurations, with interchangeable bases and seats, and the option to place a side table in the center. This is a very solidly built, practical sofa, with newly reupholstered fabric.
