Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1976. Lives in Berlin and Sarajevo. Her works, which depict society with deep and sharp insight, have received high acclaim. Her works, based on her own experiences and memories influenced by the Bosnian War, draw the viewer's attention to issues such as refugees and discrimination. Her first short film, "What do I Know," premiered at the 64th Venice International Film Festival in the short film section in 2007 and was screened at over 40 film festivals.
