Despite being the most compact of the three cars, the Audi S4 boasts a V6 supercharged engine delivering 245kW (333ps) and 440Nm (44.9kgm) of torque, surpassing the A6 3.0 TFSI quattro. It exhibited a peaky handling characteristic that would challenge any skilled driver.

Perhaps due to its large body and S model sport enhancements, the Audi S8 felt highly stable and easy to correct even with mistakes. Conversely, it responded with surprising agility to deliberate attempts to upset its balance, making bold driving effortless.
The S8 pictured, as well as the S4 and A6 Avant, drive, stop, and turn on packed snow as if on asphalt when the electronic controls are engaged.
The only A model this time, the A6 Avant 2.8 FSI quattro. Mistakes led to instability, while skillful balance resulted in smooth progress.

The world premiere of the Audi quattro at the Geneva Motor Show in 1980. The full-time 4WD passenger car with a center differential was revolutionary. It was the first work by Ferdinand Piëch, Audi's Head of Technical Development, at the company.
The competition model of the Audi quattro, which dominated the World Rally Championship (WRC) from 1982. Its 5-cylinder turbo engine, originally producing 200ps, generated 310ps with tuning.
