OGATA - From left: BEANSE CHAIR, BUTTON BENCH, BOX STOOL
OGATA - BEANSE CHAIR. A stool inspired by beans (seeds), created for the opening of OGATA SHOP in 2000. It embodies the idea of returning to one's roots while continuously growing, and the importance of the environment. Selected as "Trend" at Maison & Objet in France in 2009.
OGATA - BEANSE CHAIR
OGATA - BUTTON BENCH. Features custom-made buttons, such as those made of acrylic resin. Expresses "bridging" and "connection" through the act of fastening with buttons. Can also be used as a sofa table. The design encourages users to find their own comfortable seating or the perfect spot for a cup, stimulating the senses while fostering a sense of ease.
OGATA - SOFT WOODEN CUSHION STOOL. This piece challenges the conventional notion of wood as rigid, adding a characteristic of "sinking" to evoke surprise and subvert expectations. It achieves a soft appearance despite its material, balancing comfort with playfulness. The WOODEN CUSHION series is one of OGATA's signature collections.
OGATA - SOFT WOODEN CUSHION CHAIR. The chair version of the SOFT WOODEN CUSHION STOOL.
OGATA - OGATA's signature precise and original wooden cushions.
OGATA - WOODEN CUSHION SOFA. Realistically renders leather patchwork cushions, down to the wrinkles, in wood. This model also features a sinking function, providing a soft seating experience as its name suggests. A highly popular model among New Yorkers.

OGATA - BOX STOOL. A stool meticulously crafted to resemble cardboard boxes entirely covered in leather. Selected as "Trend" at Maison & Objet in France in 2009. It carries an ironic message: "In an era where resource issues are widely discussed, what if such leather-clad cardboard boxes disappear as resources dwindle, eliminating disposables?" The BOX series is highly acclaimed for its ingenious Japanese craftsmanship and versatile material design. The interior structure is made of plywood and iron, with the leather portion serving as a cover. While stable, it can create a fleeting illusion of fragility when one prepares to sit.
OGATA - BOX STOOL
OGATA - MELT TABLE & CHAIR. The "Melting" series by OGATA. The design, which depicts wood as if it were melting, also addresses environmental concerns. The wood grain is incorporated into the design, creating a ripple-like beauty. Like the BOX STOOL, its delicate Japanese aesthetic and ingenious craftsmanship have garnered high praise internationally. In addition to chairs, tables and shelves are also produced.
