<strong>LEXUS<br><br>Frankfurt Motor Show 2011: On-Site Report Part 9!</strong><h2>Hybrid Arrives for the New GS</h2>The new Lexus GS, which made its glamorous world premiere at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August, has now been joined by its hybrid counterpart, the GS450h, at Frankfurt. Hybrid models account for nearly half, or more, of the current GS model's sales. While challenges such as fuel efficiency at high speeds and luggage space capacity have been addressed, fuel efficiency in everyday driving has also been significantly improved, surpassing European diesel and hybrid vehicles in its low CO2 emissions. Alongside a full hybrid lineup ranging from the CT200h to the LS600h, the booth also showcased the IS F, which garnered more popularity than anticipated, exuding Lexus's unique character.<br><br><a href=Lexus GS450h, click here for details.

<strong>LEXUS GS450h</strong> The new GS450h combines a newly developed 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine with an electric motor, achieving both emotional acceleration and low CO2 emissions below 145g/km. It boasts numerous appealing features, including a luggage compartment capable of holding four golf bags and a steering wheel made from natural bamboo.
