Dior Homme | Fall/Winter 2011 Men's Collection – Runway Looks Gallery

<strong>Dior Homme</strong> Photo: PATRICE STABLE Artistic Director Kris Van Assche on the collection: "I wanted to express the concept of the venue setup in a classic, simple French space. By mixing the new forms appearing in the collection with the space, we avoided being too classic and eliminated excessive design to add modernity."

However, to maintain Dior Homme's core concept of comfort, we extensively used cashmere double-face fabrics to express warmth, lightness, and true luxury. The flowing lines, continuing from the previous season, were achieved through material selection, creating beautiful draped silhouettes for autumn/winter."

We selected a slightly firmer wool to create a structured drape. The beauty of the material and elegance are expressed by eliminating unnecessary embellishments."

Red was chosen for the finale to express passion. The wide pants, with a 32cm hem and front pleats, are designed to create beautiful drapes, expressing lightness and elegance."

Instead, we aim to understand the 'spirit' of Dior and Dior Homme, sublimate it, and present a new proposal that matches the contemporary era. Rather than drastically changing the concept each season, we focus on evolving the collection. Therefore, it resembles the previous season. While similar items exist, we evolve them each season by changing the fabric and color."
