The "Cal. L901.0" powers the "Lange 1," the first watch of the reborn Lange brand, introduced in 1994. It follows the traditional style of covering three-quarters of the movement from the case back with a three-quarter plate, beautifully engraved with Glashütte ribbing. It features a swan-neck fine-adjustment spring for precise regulation and a balance wheel with a free-sprung balance and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

Lange Double Split, manual-wind, platinum case, crocodile strap
The "Cal. L041.2" from the "Richard Lange," introduced in 2006, is Lange's first three-hand watch with a central seconds axis. While modern in style, it reduces friction by using three small gears instead of driving the fourth wheel directly. This necessitated a single bridge floating above the three-quarter plate. It employs a free-sprung balance with masselotte instead of a balance with a fine-adjustment spring. It is equipped with a hairspring manufactured in-house.
Datograph Perpetual, manual-wind, platinum case, crocodile strap
The "Cal. L952.1" powers the "Datograph Perpetual." This view shows the movement from the dial side, featuring a perpetual calendar module that requires no correction until the year 2100. The case back reveals the intricate mechanism for the flyback chronograph, similar to the Datograph. Consequently, 556 parts are meticulously arranged within a diameter of 30.4mm and a thickness of 5.7mm.
Cabaret Moon Phase, manual-wind, 18k pink gold case, crocodile strap
The "Cal. L931.3" in the Cabaret features a square movement to match its rectangular case. This image illustrates Lange's patented outsize date display. By combining two date discs, it achieves a large date display that is more compact than conventional single-disc systems.

Tourbograph "Pour le Mérite", manual-wind, platinum case, crocodile strap
The "Cal. L903.0" in the "Tourbograph "Pour le Mérite"" utilizes a chain fusée mechanism, known as a "chain-driven tourbillon." This system connects a conical fusée with the barrel via a chain, converting gear ratios to equalize torque. Housing such a complex system in a wristwatch requires not only horological expertise but also miniature craftmanship. The assembly, including the chain, comprises 1,097 parts.
The tourbillon escapement in the "Tourbograph "Pour le Mérite"" consists of 84 minuscule parts, weighing just under 0.5 grams.
Lange 1815 Perpetual Calendar, automatic, 18k pink gold case, crocodile strap
The "Cal. L922.1" in the "Lange 1815 Perpetual Calendar." This view from the dial side shows the outsize date disc removed. The perpetual calendar module is programmed to display the calendar up to 2100, including leap years, without correction. The case back features an automatic micro-rotor.

The "Cal. L921.4" in the "Saxonia Automatic" features Lange's patented zero-reset mechanism. When the crown is pulled to set the time, the seconds hand instantly returns to zero. The movement is equipped with a micro-rotor on the case back.

The case back of the "Lange 31." To accommodate its immense 31-day power reserve, it employs a key-winding mechanism. The mainspring is wound using a dedicated key.
The "Cal. L034.1" in the "Lange 31" features two oversized barrels that occupy nearly three-quarters of the movement's diameter, ensuring a 31-day power reserve when fully wound.
This view of the "Cal. L034.1" from the dial side shows the gearing on the right that drives the 31-day power reserve indicator.
To accommodate the extra-large twin barrels, the "Cal. L034.1" is notably thick and powerful. Each barrel houses a mainspring several times longer than usual.
Datograph, manual-wind, 18k pink gold case, crocodile strap
The "Cal. L951.1" in the "Datograph" is considered one of the finest modern movements, showcasing a swan-neck fine-adjustment spring, a column wheel, various operating levers, German silver bridges, and an intricate arrangement of gears, creating a visually stunning mechanism.
