<br />Hoste went on to win a stage at the Tour de France in '84.
<strong>le coq sportif</strong><br />This model was a favorite in the world's premier cycling races.
<br />Model worn by Bernard Hinault when he won the overall classification at the 1979 Tour de France.
<br />Hinault's team used this design between '77 and '83.
<br />During that period, they achieved four victories, and in '79, he wore a design identical to the one shown here (designs from other years had subtle differences in logo placement).
