Nemo Bakery & Cafe | Nemo's recommended "Croissant" is a popular item, made with yeast fermented from scratch and plenty of fermented butter kneaded in, baked on the third day after preparation. You'll want to savor every bit of the flaky crust, characteristic of croissants. Ready at 9:00 AM | ¥200 each
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | The "Tomato France," with tomato puree, green and black olives, and pickles mixed into baguette dough, offers a well-balanced and addictive flavor. Its chewy texture pairs wonderfully with wine. Ready at 12:00 PM | ¥250 per baguette
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | A rich selection of 80-85 types of bread are always available. Seasonal menus featuring fresh ingredients often appear. Browse the offerings under the "Freshly Baked Now!!" stickers.
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | "Chocolate Bread" is baked with a fluffy dough made with milk, folded with chocolate chips. "You'll get your hands all chocolatey as you tear and eat it (laughs)," says the staff, due to the generous amount of chocolate inside. It's also delicious on subsequent days after the dough has set; a few seconds in the microwave will melt the chocolate again. Ready at 1:00 PM | ¥600 per loaf / ¥300 per half
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | The "Tamaizumi" baguette uses "Tamaizumi," a wheat variety from northern Iga, Mie Prefecture, traditionally used for udon noodles. Through the chef's dedication and trial-and-error, a baguette with a chewy texture and enhanced wheat sweetness has been perfected. Ready at 11:00 AM | ¥220 per baguette
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | The "Apple and Sweet Potato Tart," featuring a tart base with almond cream and a generous topping of apples and sweet potatoes, is a limited autumn-winter menu item. ¥350 per slice
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | In the cafe at the back of the shop, a diverse clientele of all ages enjoys their time in their own way. Paninis, available only in the cafe, are also popular.
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | "Our staff, both full-time and part-time, start at 6:30 AM, which is the earliest they can commute by train. That's quite late for a bakery, isn't it?" says Chef Nemoto.
Nemo Bakery & Cafe | The relaxed interior creates a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere. The aim was to create "a shop like one in the European countryside, where your grandmother would make you an espresso."
