TOKYO PREMIUM BAKERIES | Part 5: ARTISAN TERRA Gallery

ARTISAN TERRA | Organic Pan de Mie Complet, certified Organic JAS. Made with organic Yukichikara whole grain from Mr. Imura in Ishikawa Prefecture, milled in-house with a stone mill for each batch. Scheduled to be ready at 10:00 AM. 399 yen per loaf (photo shows two loaves).
ARTISAN TERRA | Bread is sold over the counter. In addition to baked goods, we recommend freshly made cakes prepared by our patissier in the kitchen visible through the glass.
ARTISAN TERRA | Our popular "Parisian Cream Bun" is made with a special cream using organic milk from Daichi Farm and organic eggs from Kuroiwa Farm, encased in a beignet dough and fried to a crisp in organic oil. Scheduled to be ready at 10:00 AM. 242 yen each.
ARTISAN TERRA | We offer 10 types of Organic JAS certified breads, including sourdough, pain de mie, campagne, and baguettes. Look for the green mark on the label.
ARTISAN TERRA | Rustic yet deeply flavorful French regional pastries supervised by Yukiko Omori, a researcher of French cuisine and confectionery. In addition to the classic "Gateau Basque," monthly specials are also available, all rich with the aroma of butter and popular as gifts. 210 yen each, and up.
ARTISAN TERRA | Baked goods can be purchased individually or as a set, and you can also freely arrange your selections in a box. Some baked goods come in small individual cases, perfect for a small souvenir.
ARTISAN TERRA | Enjoy freshly baked breads and pastries with drinks in our cafe space. During our visit, we observed local families with children and a man enjoying tea alone.
ARTISAN TERRA | The blackboard at the entrance displays information about the baked goods available that month.
ARTISAN TERRA | "Just as the taste of wine varies each year, we want customers to enjoy the subtle differences in the flavor of the wheat itself each year," says Chef Tsuyoshi Eitoku, who aims to "make bread using single varieties of wheat as much as possible."
ARTISAN TERRA | With its stylish facade reminiscent of a Parisian street-corner boulangerie, it stands out on Sangenjaya Street. The aroma of freshly baked bread entices passersby to peek inside.
