"Vulcanized fiber was what drew me to create eiffel," says Naruki Fujishiro.
"Normally, we go through several stages of 1/5 and 1/1 scale models, but because strength was crucial, I made the actual piece with that material. The finished product was just as I imagined," Fujishiro explains.

"I'm planning an overseas exhibition themed around 'eiffel'," Fujishiro says.
"The packaging is also superb. It's fun to open and assemble," Nakahara notes.

"It has the same strength as an office chair," Fujishiro states.
<b>Naruki Fujishiro</b> Born in Tokyo in 1974. After graduating from Wako University's Faculty of Economics, he completed the evening program at Kuwasawa Design School. He joined IDÉE Co., Ltd. in 1998, where he designed original furniture and other items. He later left the company in 2005 to establish shigeki fujishiro design and pursue his design activities. From January to March 2009, he held a solo exhibition at SFT GALLERY within the museum shop of The National Art Center, Tokyo. Recently, he has also been involved in brand direction, including directing Saito Wood Co., Ltd.
