The venue for the 'eletronika Festival' felt like the Shibuya Public Hall of yesteryear.

(Left) Hair and makeup artist Noboru Tomizawa wore a yukata by Kuniyoshi Kaneko, adorned with Swarovski crystals. (Left) I ended up DJing on the spur of the moment at a club called Velvet. Noboru and I formed a DJ unit called 'DJ Gendai'.
It's hot in the club! A fan is essential.
I was surprised by how many young people approached me in Japanese at the club! They said they admired Japan and were studying it.
As the energy built, Noboru started singing along too!
Fernanda and Pato Fu were stars in Brazil.

Most shops are closed on Sundays, so I went to a flea market.

A vintage accessory shop featuring items from the 50s and 60s.
Went to a churrascaria to try churrasco, a Brazilian specialty. Giant skewers of meat were brought out one after another.
